Mad Hatters ENGLISH Tea party

Kara had four friends over and Victoria two. So yes a huge total of 8 darlings. we have the big house now, one should use it. The kids don't really know me that well so they were little angels and behaved so well. Kara and Victoria were given the warning to behave. So we had a mad hatters tea party. The kids were good sports and all wore different hats. I made cucumber sandwiches, with no crusts, pretzels(sorry) and broken biscuits(not cookies). I messed up the biscuits but they still tasted great. The kids made pompoms and shrinkies and then when the moms arrived all hell broke loose and kids running around. I told the kiddies all my British friends are so posh and talk very fancy so we must do the same today. It was hysterical watching the kiddies try be ever so fancy.

Jokes aside it was a great afternoon. Kara and Victoria felt like the top banana's which is all that matters.

The ENGLISH tea party.

Thanks GREG for Victoria's hat.

What the hell is that?????

Christmas in America is a LITTLE different. Firstly hardly anyone gives out Christmas cards. All the Christmas cards say "happy holidays" because everyone is not quite sure who is Jewish or not????? The kids don't exchange cards at school. You can not find mulled wine and no one knows what it is. You don't see mice pies???? I thought I would take a chance and ask a bakery if they had any mince pies. Very helpful chap. He said I was from England which was not to bad???? I told the baker I would have 6 mince pies and said I did not have to buy the whole box. I had a frown. Anyway it turns out the picture above is a mince pie from America. Yes I can make them but do you think I could find fruit mince.

Cheers to a merry Christmas.

I am off ice skating tomorrow. I will need to wear more clothes as the temperature is so cold.
