I caught the Gautrain to Sandton and it was a great experience. Very well organised, lots of security and so quick. I will for sure use it again. Sandton is bursting at the seams, I cant believe all the buildings and developments that is going on. There must still be some money around. Everything is so much smaller here and the cars feel like dinky cars. I am driving on the left hand side again but have given my mom a few grey hairs for making a few wrong turns.
Seeing Kate was amazing and seeing Megan was just too wonderful. The boys were very affectionate and gave me big hugs. A lovely welcome.

Kate's garden
Kate hand painted these cement balls and had them on the pavement. Well the original batch got stolen and the thief replaced them with new cement balls. not sure if that is all bad. So the balls now been repainted and inside the garden.

The croc, the pub down the road
The croc is my dads hang out. We had fish and chips, live music and peacocks. Good combination. I had my hunters dry and it tasted so like a few more.

I hit pick n pay.
My mom damaged her ear so we had to go to the hospital. While we were there a young girl came in and had just had a car accident. She was in a bit of shock, as you would be, but I was straining the ears to hear exactly what had happened. Anyway the mom arrived and I got all details. The mom says to her daughter -" what the F***K have you done, were you F****King pissed", which lane of the highway were you traveling?" Anyway it was really funny. So open and no holding back that's for sure.
My mom is fine but in some pain.
