So Much

The days are running away with me. I am loving my work so much. I totally switch off to the rest of the world when I go and teach. The kids are great and they just love swimming. I love swimming. This morning I dropped my girls off at school and one of my swimming kids ran up to me and gave me a hug in the school corridor. Really sweet. I also am so grateful that I am able to work as its been a huge coping mechanism.

I am on a mission to try make the right choices. Listen to my gut instinct and surround myself with wonderful people.

Today I put on my brightest and happiest t-shirt I own and off I went to tennis lessons. After my last disaster of lessons I was determined not to get caught up in the women but focus on the tennis. It was amazing. I learnt so much. How wonderful to learn new things and be stimulated. My heart is happy and smiling today.

Is that t-shirt bright or what? Do you think Harpeden can cope with my happy t-shirt?
I have asked Melissa if she would play tennis with me when we get back, any other takers?

Today is Kara's teachers birthday. Kara went to a friends house yesterday and made this chocolate cake for her class and teacher to celebrate. They went to the headmistress to ask permission to bring the cake to school, made a banner and huge card for her. So wonderful to see them use there initiative. Kara learnt how ro make fondant roses. Kara has so much more patience then me. She loves baking but always complains I take over. I have heard that one before from Leon. I need to step away from the kitchen and let her grow and experiment.

Softball season has started again. Leon does the Saturday mornings and drives from one game to the other. Victoria is a mean hitter.

We had a last braai together before the storm hits. Mark and Stacey are also moving back to the UK. Leon met Mark at his first job . We have grown together and travelled many miles together

Stacey bought the kids memory boxes which was very special.

Victoria covered herself and my carpet in yellow and green Bafana strips. Oh yes Kaden also got some.
