Cockenoe Island

Bonnie and I with no kids took her Boston Whaler out to Cockenoe Island. Its was amazing. The island is about 1.5 miles from the Longshore, Westport beach. We were the only ones there.

We are off. Managed to get the boat out without damaging any other boats

Last Days

Our last few days in the United States of America are drawing to an end. you eventually get to the stage where your body is here but your mind has left.

We have been making a good use of the pools, beach and rivers. The heat has been fantastic but boy its been hot. You are contantly walking around with sweat dripping off.

Kara in charge of the pony

Victoria having a cuddle after dinner.

Off to the outdoor pavillion to watch Delta Rae which were amazing. Every summer they have 50 live acts, all free. You bring the cooler box, bug spray and chairs.

Anna and Victoria been naughty.

Rubbish picture. Forgot to take one in the begining of the evening.

Church on the beach. I went to the service  on the beach which was wonderful

On the other side of the beach the swimmers were getting ready for the 1 mile race. The top swimmers are doing a mile in 15 mintutes.

We have a house in Harpenden on Tennyson Road. Melissa had a look at it for me. So big surprises when we get back. We move on the 1 September, thats if the container clears customs. Kara still at Manland and Victoria at Sauncey. still praying we get them in the same school. Keep asking Victoria to say a pray so she can get Manland. Her answer is why mommy I want to try something new.

We will be in St Albans from 2 August. So its all happening.

Lots of love

The deer and the ticks are quite a problem. I still think its starnge walking along and you bump into a deer.

We walked to Ocean Beach which is about a 45 minute walk along the beach. You can't cycle there. Ice-cream - yummy
